political systems.
Statistically, 24.17 percent of their communities are in cities with less
than 25,000 people; 20.23 percent are in agricultural zones; and 52.91 percent are in areas that economically belong to the
lower-middle and lower classes.
Traditionally, most Piarists were born and worked in European countries,
but in recent years, the number of Piarists working in europe has decreased, and many are going to poorer places in Asia,
Africa and the Americas. Every year, the number of Piarists who were born outside of Europe is increasing.
